On running the program, a GUI window appears, allowing you to add hosts, and groups of hosts. Skipole Monitor will regularly ping them, showing the results via a built-in web server, and optionally sending alert emails and syslog messages whenever a host changes status. Anyone can view the results remotely, via a browser.
